DEAN OF TECHNOLOGY

This program is designed to develop skilled and competent manpower to cater to the requirements of society. It offers its students in-depth knowledge and builds skills in them by offering them an updated curriculum, technological equipment along with well-experienced learned faculty members.

The program offers the industry to benefit from knowledgeable human resources who are shaped to adapt and cater to the rapid changes in the fields of technology.

The mission of the Technology Department is:
  • Provide environment, resources, access and infrastructure to students to broaden their knowledge, expertise and skills required in their respective technology fields and specialization
  • Keep students acquainted with latest industrial trends, developments and opportunities related to various technologies
  • Inculcate a strong sense of ethics and commitment to contribute to the needs of the society
Specifically, the core objectives are to ensure that students graduate with:
  • Continue to improve and update the curriculum of programs/technologies to align it with industrial requirements while adhering to HEC and NTC guidelines
  • Continue to add new Laboratory infrastructure and upgrade/replace existing Laboratory equipment in order to meet changing curricular and industrial requirements of programs
  • Constantly upgrade departmental library and book repository to ensure availability of textbooks, journals and other reference materials to the Technology students
  • Continue to develop faculty resources through continual hiring of experts, academicians and technician to meet departmental education and learning goals
  • Continue the development of forward linkages and association with industry for better placement and internship opportunities for technology students
  • To inculcate a strong sense of ethics and commitment to serve the fundamental needs of society
