ADMISSIONS CRITERIA POLICY
BACHELORS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION [ BBA ]
- Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
- Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
- Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
- Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.
BACHELORS OF COMMERCE [ B. Com ]
- Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
- Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
- Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
- Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.
ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN BUSINESS
- Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
- Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
- Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
- Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.
MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION [ MBA ]
- Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
- Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test or submit a valid GMAT/GRE score.
- Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test/GMAT/GRE score will be called for an interview.
- Work Experience – Preference may be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
- Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test/GMAT/GRE score, interview, and work experience.
BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE [ BSCS ]
- Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks, with Mathematics or Computer Science as a compulsory subject.
- Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
- Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
- Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.
BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING [ BSSE ]
- Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks, with Mathematics or Computer Science as a compulsory subject.
- Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
- Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
- Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.
