ADMISSIONS CRITERIA POLICY

BACHELORS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION [ BBA ]
 
  1. Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  2. Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
  3. Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
  4. Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.

 

BACHELORS OF COMMERCE [ B. Com ]

  1. Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
  2. Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
  3. Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
  4. Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.

 

ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN BUSINESS

  1. Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
  2. Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
  3. Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
  4. Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.

 

MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION [ MBA ]

  1. Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  2. Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test or submit a valid GMAT/GRE score.
  3. Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test/GMAT/GRE score will be called for an interview.
  4. Work Experience – Preference may be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
  5. Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test/GMAT/GRE score, interview, and work experience.

 

BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE [ BSCS ]

  1. Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks, with Mathematics or Computer Science as a compulsory subject.
  2. Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
  3. Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
  4. Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.

 

BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING [ BSSE ]

  1. Minimum Qualification – Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks, with Mathematics or Computer Science as a compulsory subject.
  2. Admission Test – Candidates are required to appear in the Newports entrance test.
  3. Interview – Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance test will be called for an interview.
  4. Merit – Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s academic performance, entrance test score, and interview.
