INTAKE PERIODS

  1. Newports Institute of Communications & Economics follows a bi-annual admissions system with two intakes per academic year, namely Fall and Spring.
  2. The Fall intake begins tentatively in August, and the Spring intake begins tentatively in January.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Prospective students are required to apply for admissions through the designated Admissions Portal, which can be accessed on the official Newports Institute website or https://eduboard.newports.edu.pk/AdmissionPortal/Applicant/EDU_EBS_REG_Login.aspx.
  2. The Admissions Portal will be open for a specified period for each intake. The opening and closing dates will be clearly communicated on the institute’s website and other relevant platforms.

DOCUMENT ASSESSMENT

  1. Once the application period ends, the admissions department will assess the submitted applications and supporting documents.
  2. Applicants will be notified about the acceptance or rejection of their applications via email or any other official communication channel within a specified timeframe.

APTITUDE TEST

  1. Candidates who successfully pass the initial application and document assessment stage will be provided with the dates for the Aptitude Test.
  2. The Aptitude Test will assess the applicants’ general aptitude, subject knowledge, and other relevant skills.
  3. The test dates will be communicated to the eligible candidates through email or other official means.
  4. The test results will be shared with the candidates within a reasonable period after the test.

INTERVIEW

  1. Candidates who clear the Aptitude Test will be invited for an interview.
  2. The interview process aims to evaluate the candidate’s personal qualities, communication skills, and motivation for joining Newports Institute.
  3. The interview dates and details will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates via email or other official communication channels.
  4. The final selection will be based on the combined performance of the candidate in the Aptitude Test and the interview.

SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  1. Newports Institute encourages students to apply for scholarships and financial assistance.
  2. Detailed information regarding available scholarships, eligibility criteria, and the application process will be provided on the institute’s website and other relevant platforms.
  3. Applicants are required to submit the necessary documents and complete the scholarship application within the specified deadline.
  4. The scholarship committee will evaluate the applications and notify the selected candidates.

Note: The Admissions Schedule policy will be in compliance with the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Any changes or updates to the admissions process will be communicated through official channels and platforms.
