Admission Schedule – Fall 2026
Newports Institute of Communications & Economics welcomes applications for the Fall 2026 intake. Prospective students are encouraged to apply early, as seats are limited and offered on a merit basis in accordance with HEC guidelines.

INTAKE PERIODS
- Newports Institute of Communications & Economics follows a bi-annual admissions system with two intakes per academic year — Fall and Spring.
- The Fall intake begins tentatively in August, giving students a full academic year ahead and access to the widest range of course offerings and orientation activities.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Prospective students must apply through the official Admissions Portal, accessible via the Newports Institute website or the Apply Now page.
- The Admissions Portal will be open for a specified period for the Fall 2026 intake. Opening and closing dates will be clearly communicated on the institute’s website and other official platforms — applicants are advised to check regularly for updates.
DOCUMENT ASSESSMENT
- Once the application period ends, the admissions department will assess the submitted applications and supporting documents.
- Applicants will be notified about the acceptance or rejection of their applications via email or any other official communication channel within a specified timeframe.
APTITUDE TEST
- Candidates who clear the initial application and document assessment stage will be given Aptitude Test dates.
- The test evaluates general aptitude, subject knowledge, and other relevant skills.
- Test dates are communicated to eligible candidates via email or other official means.
- Results are shared within a reasonable period following the test.
INTERVIEW
- Candidates who pass the Aptitude Test are invited for an interview.
- The interview evaluates the candidate’s personal qualities, communication skills, and motivation for joining Newports Institute.
- Interview dates and details are shared with shortlisted candidates via email or other official channels.
- Final selection is based on combined performance in the Aptitude Test and interview.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
- Newports Institute encourages students to apply for scholarships and financial assistance alongside their Fall 2026 application.
- Full details on available scholarships, eligibility criteria, and the application process are available on the institute’s website and other official platforms.
- Applicants must submit required documents and complete their scholarship application within the specified deadline.
- The scholarship committee reviews applications and notifies selected candidates directly.
