Dr. Huma Bukhari Represents Pakistan at Prestigious MAEF-2025 Plenary Conference in Moscow
Dr. Huma Bukhari, Rector of Newports Institute of Communications and Economics, proudly represented Pakistan at the VII Moscow Academic Economic Forum (MAEF-2025), delivering a keynote address during one of the Forum’s most prominent plenary conferences hosted at Moscow Polytechnic University.
This year’s Forum focused on the theme:
“A New Perspective on Human Capital in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
Held on June 5, 2025, the plenary session at Moscow Polytechnic brought together global experts and thought leaders to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on labor, society, education, and personal development.
Dr. Huma Bukhari’s address titled:
“Artificial Intelligence and Human Capital: Challenges and Opportunities from the Perspective of a Developing Country,”

Organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia and the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), the Moscow Academic Economic Forum is one of Russia’s premier international academic events. This year, MAEF gathered over 17,500 specialists from 32 countries including China, Pakistan, Canada, Germany, South Africa, and others. The main events began on June 4 at RAS, with 13 simultaneous plenary sessions taking place at leading universities and research institutions across Russia on June 5.
