SCHOLARSHIP & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE POLICY

MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
  1. Students who have secured one of the top three positions at their previous institute are eligible to apply for the Merit-Based Scholarship.
  2. The scholarship committee will assess the candidates and award up to a 100% tuition fee waiver to deserving candidates.

NEED BASED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
  1. Students seeking financial assistance can apply by submitting the required documents to the admissions department.
  2. The financial assistance committee will evaluate the applications based on the provided documentation.
  3. Deserving candidates may be awarded up to a 50% tuition fee waiver, as determined by the authorities.
  4. The following documents are required to be submitted:
    • Expenses of education of any other siblings
    • Evaluation of applicant’s assets and financial resources
    • Life status of the father (i.e. alive or deceased)
    • Parental support
    • Accommodation details (ownership, location, size, type)
    • Conveyance information
    • Financial standing other than income
    • Academic standing and potential of the student

WORK STUDY SCHEME
  1. Newports Institute offers a Work-Study Scheme to help students meet their financial needs through part-time on-campus work.
  2. The Human Resource Department will announce available positions for students to work on-campus.
  3. The program aims to develop students’ talent and skills.
  4. Two different programs are available for students:
    • Paid Student Interns
    • Teaching Assistant Position

EXTRA CURRICULAR BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
  1. Students who have excelled in extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, photography, debates, speeches, drama, or any other recognized activity may apply for the Extra-Curricular Based Scholarship.
  2. The Institute will review authentic Certificates of Excellence provided by the students.

HAFIZ E QURAN SCHOLARSHIPS
  1. Students who are Hafiz-e-Quran (those who have memorized the Quran) may apply for the Hafiz-e-Quran Scholarship.
  2. Applicants will be required to provide a certificate (if available) or undergo an oral test for verification.

SIBLINGS SCHOLARSHIPS
  1. Students who have siblings currently enrolled at Newports Institute are eligible to apply for the Siblings Scholarship.
  2. The scholarship committee will review the applications and award the scholarship based on the eligibility criteria.
