ICBM 2024 SUBMISSION TYPES AND REVIEW CRITERIA
Guidelines for Submission
All papers must be original and not under consideration by another conference or research journal. Papers are invited in the following categories.
Full-Length Research Papers Submission Guidelines for ICBMC 2024
- Maximum 16 pages, including title, text, figures, tables, appendices (if any), and references. Submissions exceeding this limit will be automatically rejected.
- Papers must describe original research not published elsewhere.
- Research should be related to the conference themes in business management and computing.
- Especially for empirical studies, papers should include thorough analyses and results.
- While shorter in length, full-length research papers should be of a similar quality to journal submissions, maintaining high standards in research and writing.
- Submissions must adhere to the guidelines specified in the ‘Submission Formatting Requirements and Checklist’ section of the conference instructions. This includes formatting for text, figures, tables, references, etc.
Review Criteria for Full-Length Research Papers
- The paper’s relevance to the conference themes and topics.
- The significance of the research in the context of business management and computing.
- The novelty of the research.
- The reliability and validity of the results.
- Paper is interesting and draws readers’ attention.
- Literature review is appropriate and adequate (considering the prescribed length of the paper)
- Research methodology is appropriate & relevant/Materials and Methods are appropriate & relevant.
- Analyses, results & discussions are appropriate.
- Paper makes valuable and original contributions.
- References are sufficient, relevant and consistent
- The clarity and organization of the presentation.
- The quality of writing and adherence to formatting guidelines.
- The potential impact of the research on the field.
- The practical implications and applications of the findings.
- The adequacy and relevance of the references. Proper citation of related work and reference in APA style
Submission Formatting Requirements and Checklist
- Please ensure that your paper conforms to the following requirements:
- Typically, PDF or DOC/DOCX.
- Standard margins as specified (usually 1 inch or 2.54 cm).
- Commonly Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Usually 1.5 or double-spaced.
- Properly labeled and placed within the text.
- Properly formatted according to the specified citation and reference in APA style.
- Should include the title, authors’ names, affiliations, and contact information.
- Abstract is typically 150-250 words summarizing the research.
- A list of relevant keywords (usually 4-6).
